Bocholt is out walking again
Register now for the spring highlight of 2027!

On Sunday 18 April 2027, it's time once again to lace up your walking boots and set off on a journey of discovery! The popular sporting event 'Bocholt Wandert' gets young and old alike moving - this time with an exciting new 8km route.
Organised by Stadtmarketing Bocholt and the Bocholt City Sports Association (SSV), together with dedicated groups of volunteers, participants can once again look forward to an impressive setting around the picturesque Diepenbrock Castle and beautiful, idyllic walking trails this coming spring.
There are three attractive routes to choose from:
- Family walk, 8 km (start: 11.00 am)
- 15 km walk (start: 9.30 am)
- Cross-border route over 26 km (start: 8.30 am)
Refreshment stations along the routes invite you to stop for a bite to eat and offer the chance to have your hiking pass stamped.

Tickets are also available from the Bocholt Tourist Information Centre (Nordstraße 14, 46399 Bocholt).

Children's ticket (up to and including 12 years): €4
Ticket prices from 2 September 2026:
25 km: €18
15 km: €14
8 km: €10
Children's ticket: €5
Of course, all young walkers can once again look forward to the popular puzzle trail featuring Bokoltje, the beech goblin from Bocholt, and the soft toy scavenger hunt on the family walk - including a little surprise at the finish!
