Yarn on the track - handicraft meeting in the city library

Bocholt City Library invites all handicraft enthusiasts to the new creative get-together "Garn am Gleis". From 11 September, crochet, knitting and other handicraft projects can be carried out together in a cosy atmosphere and experiences can be exchanged.

The new meeting place focusses on creative exchange and learning together. Getting to know new handicraft techniques or passing on your own knowledge - that's what's most enjoyable in conversation. "As an enthusiastic needlework fan, I am really looking forward to our new programme and the many ideas and encounters", says Marita Wormland from the city library. "I'm looking forward to seeing what I can learn myself - and what I can pass on to others", she adds.

With new items from the goods station and current media from the handicraft and novel sectors, the team also provides fresh impetus and inspiration for all levels of experience. Patterns and instructions can be discussed directly and tried out together. This not only creates new projects, but also valuable contacts.

The exchange format starts on 11 September at 5 pm on the 1st floor of the Bocholt City Library. After that, the handicraft meeting will take place every second Thursday of the month. All interested parties are cordially invited and can register free of charge by emailing stadtbibliothek(at)bocholt(dot)de. Participants are asked to bring their own materials.
