Long learning nights in the city library
Longer opening hours to prepare for final exams and written tests // Three dates in April
The city library invites you to long learning nights for the third time. On 9 April, 14 April and 23 April 2026, the city library will remain open until 10 pm. Participation in the long learning nights is free of charge and registration is not required.
Many pupils and other students appreciate the quiet atmosphere of Bocholt's city library to prepare for their final exams or A-levels, either alone or in study groups. In April, the city library is once again offering them the opportunity to take part in the "Long Learning Nights".
"Our aim is to provide learners with a supportive environment in which they can concentrate fully on their preparations", says Melanie Tenhumberg, Head of the City Library. "A small team of librarians from the city library will of course be available throughout the evening for advice and research questions", she explains.
In addition to selected specialised literature, reference works and learning aids for all examination subjects, the city library offers free WLAN, free use of Smartboard and Internet workstations as well as copying and printing facilities. Refreshments and nourishment are also provided to keep students focussed and full of energy.
