Software migration: Citizens' Office will have limited opening hours

Migration scheduled for Tuesday 29 September

Due to a major software upgrade, the Bocholt City Council Citizens' Office will be closed to the public on 29 September. The city council will provide an emergency staff rota for urgent matters that cannot be postponed.

The Bocholt City Council's Citizens' Office will be carrying out a comprehensive software upgrade on 29 September. As the specialist applications will need to be taken offline for the entire day whilst the upgrade is taking place, it will not be technically possible to access registration data as normal.

The full-day system shutdown will also affect related services. Consequently, on the day in question, no business registration, deregistration or change of registration applications can be accepted or processed. Residents and business owners are asked to deal with any pending matters in advance or from the following working day onwards.

To assist members of the public in urgent, unavoidable emergency situations, the local authority is organising an emergency team for 29 September. From the following day, the Citizens' Advice Bureau will be available again as usual and during its regular opening hours.
