On 5 October 2026, Christian Tewiele will celebrate his 25th anniversary in the civil service.
After completing his A-levels and his alternative civilian service, Christian Tewiele began his training as a graduate in public administration with the District of Borken on 1 September 2002. Upon successfully completing his training, he initially worked for four years in the asylum section of the Immigration Office before moving to the Social Affairs Department in 2009.
There, he took on responsibility for budget planning, management accounting and statistics for the department. From 2015, he worked as a social services planner, focusing in particular on care needs planning for the Borken district, as well as on issues relating to older people and voluntary work. In early 2021, he took over as head of the Borken District's fines office. For many years, Christian Tewiele was also actively involved in the staff council and in the district administration's crisis management team.
Christian Tewiele has been working for the City of Bocholt since 1 February 2024. As Head of Division within the Social Services Department, he is responsible for matters relating to older people, care, pensions and voluntary work. The issues of social inclusion and care also play an important role in his remit.
The City of Bocholt warmly congratulates Christian Tewiele on his 25th anniversary of service and thanks him for his many years of dedication to the public service. We wish him continued enjoyment in his work, success and all the best for the future!
