Night of training

The district-wide "Night of Training" will take place in 2026 on 19 November.

During the evening, the participating companies in Bocholt and throughout the district will open their doors at their own locations from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and present themselves as a training company to interested pupils, young adults, their parents and other interested parties. The companies provide information directly on site about the company, its training opportunities and internships and give an exclusive insight into their companies.

This gives those interested in training the opportunity to visit the companies without having to make an appointment in advance and thus gain a comprehensive picture of the potential workplace. The impression gained by those looking for training goes far beyond mere information: seeing where and with whom they work in the company and what they can expect as trainees in the company certainly helps them to decide in favour of the right company.

The aim of this regional event is, on the one hand, to support young people in their career orientation and, on the other, to give companies the opportunity to get to know young people personally as future trainees and to present their own company.

The event will be accompanied by a social media campaign. In addition to Instagram, TikTok will also be used as a platform to achieve an even greater reach among young people. Another new feature is a district-wide competition: pupils who take part in the "Night of Training" and visit companies have the chance to win attractive prizes. Companies in Bocholt that would like to take part in the "Nacht der Ausbildung 2026" in the Borken district can register easily from May 2026 via the updated website www.nda.kreis-borken.de. Free advertising materials such as posters and flyers are available there, while additional advertising materials such as competition cards can be ordered via a webshop.
