What do I need to consider?

  • Only put used clothing in sealed bags in the containers or for used clothing collection.
  • Only put used clothing bags in the used clothing containers. Any items placed next to them will be unusable for further recycling.
  • When an old clothes container is full, please take the old clothes bags back with you
  • Rags, fabric remnants and wet, torn, soiled clothing belong in the residual waste bin.
  • Take care of your valuables. Valuables accidentally disposed of in used clothing containers can no longer be retrieved.

What other options are there for handing in old clothes?

Reusing is better than disposing of. In addition to the used clothing centres, there are several "Second Hand" shops in Bocholt. These take modern, wearable clothing for sale on consignment. A number of online platforms have also been established where you can offer and sell clothes yourself.
