Commercial vehicle mechatronics technician

The three and a half year training programme takes place at the waste disposal and service company (ESB) of the city of Bocholt, whereby the theoretical knowledge is supported by attendance at the Bocholt-West vocational college.

The 1st and 2nd year of training include

• Measuring and testing various systems,
• operating vehicles and systems,
• assembly, disassembly and repair of motor vehicles, components, assemblies and systems and
• the inspection of motor vehicles in accordance with road traffic regulations

The 3rd and 4th years of training include

• the maintenance of power transmission systems,
• retrofitting and commissioning additional systems,
• testing and repairing electro-pneumatic and electro-hydraulic systems and
• carrying out service and repair work for a statutory inspection
