Bachelor of Laws (Administration)

The dual study programme combines a law degree at the University of Applied Sciences for Police and Public Administration in Münster with practical training phases in various departments of Bocholt City Council. During the practical study periods at the Bocholt city administration, tasks, working methods and interrelationships of public administration are to be clarified and practical administrative action is to be practised. The applicable legal regulations are taught in a practice-orientated manner. The four practical areas are

The degree programme at the University of Applied Sciences for Police and Administration in Münster provides academic training. The following subjects are taught in five study sections of 16-20 weeks:

• Constitutional law, municipal law, general administrative law
• Business administration
• financial management
• social law
• Psychology & sociology
• Training in social skills

The preparatory service concludes with the Bachelor's thesis. After passing the examination, you will be awarded the academic degree "Bachelor of Laws".

After successfully completing your studies, you will be employed in a specialist area of the city administration.
