Adieu Ch_rie-separation in French co Happy Entertainment

"Adieu Chérie" is a charming, light-hearted comedy about the infamous empty nest syndrome - funny, surprising and straight from life. After 30 years of marriage, Alain (Franck Dubosc) is still madly in love with Diane (Karin Viard).

When their last child moves out, he looks forward to a new, romantic life for two. But while Alain is already dreaming of togetherness, Diane is plunged into a real crisis of meaning: the children are gone - and what now?

The journalist also feels professionally sidelined in the editorial department of a lifestyle magazine. When a mysterious bouquet of flowers arrives one day without a return address, everything is thrown off balance. What begins as a minor irritation triggers a chain of marvellously turbulent reactions that cause the couple to stumble rather involuntarily into separation. Suddenly single, they both discover new acquaintances - and put their love to a whole new test.

The film lasts 97 minutes.

The film was directed by Philippe Lefebvre.
