Three men who enjoy taking to the stage again to argue to the great amusement of the audience. But they also like to make up again and again, because after all, it's about the only true Christmas story. One of the three always comes up with something else to tell, but the core of the story remains untouched. The hilarious realisation, cross-references and corrections delight the audience, because the three are masters of the connections, the "timing" and have immense fun with their hustle and bustle.
The joy of the play, of the audience's reaction and spontaneous response to it are the ingredients with which Jens Habers, Phillip Küper and Christian Schmeink, carefully studied by their director Ralf Melzow, delight our hearts and laughter muscles. The silent and quiet moments in the play get their share and they touch our hearts.
When the tears of laughter veil our eyes, the audience shrieks with joy or is suddenly caught up in suspense, this is comedic theatre at its most beautiful and exuberant.
