December is Christmas time for many. A time when three actors check their wardrobes, gather the few props and hold their text rehearsals online. Here, for once, technology is really only helpful. The anticipation of our Christmas story is palpable among everyone involved, because they are telling the Christmas story. It is told relatively briefly and concisely in the Bible and that was an opportunity to tell a beautiful, extended and true Christmas story from this tiny little story, which is actually read out here unabridged, without any deletions in "our" Christmas story. You don't have to learn everything by heart if you can read it on stage. A very comfy setting. It would definitely be a much shorter evening if the three protagonists weren't constantly talking over each other, discussing their sensitivities, constantly coming up with new ideas and celebrating their tiny conflicts with a big reconciliation. Why is that? Because the audience enjoys it so much and the players always want to weave in new ideas or improvements. With the help of the audience, a full-length, extremely varied story was created, which the audience, after many years, is also very much looking forward to as the fourth protagonist. He and the initiator and director Ralf Melzow deserve at least as much thanks as the three great actors, who sometimes spontaneously organise the evening with enthusiasm and great joy: Jens Habers, Phillip Küper and Christian Schmeink. We look forward to seeing you in December. See you then.
