Your keys, the name of your grandchild, your friend's birthday - if you forget things, you don't necessarily have to be ill. However, if the forgetfulness persists, it can be a symptom of Alzheimer's disease.
The diagnosis often comes as a shock. However, recognising the disease early can delay or positively influence its development.
In her lecture, Prof Dr Judith Alferink talks about early detection, but also about how
Alzheimer's disease can at least be delayed by adopting an appropriate lifestyle.
She will also present new research findings.
