Mayor on site: South-West
"Mayor on site", under this motto Bocholt's mayor Thomas Kerkhoff invites Bocholt's citizens to an open dialogue in an informal atmosphere. Current topics that concern people in the neighbourhood can be discussed there.
Current topics that concern people in the neighbourhood can be discussed at the open meeting. The series will start on Thursday, 28 September, in the new neighbourhood meeting place at Bärendorfstraße 24. Citizens who live in the south-western area of Bocholt are cordially invited to attend.
Registration is not required. Questions can be submitted in advance by e-mail to buergermeister-vor-ort(at)bocholt(dot)de. Following the open dialogue, there will be an opportunity for a brief, confidential one-to-one discussion with Mayor Kerkhoff.
Bocholt south-west
The Bocholt-Südwest area is bordered to the north by the Bocholter Aa and the inner city ring road, to the east by the railway line and to the south and west by the B67 and the motorway feeder road. The area includes the monastery garden, St Josef's Church and the "Guter Hirte" retirement home. The largest streets are Alfred-Flender-Straße, Karolingerstraße and Hohenzollernstraße.
Next appointment
The next "Bürgermeister vor Ort" event will take place on 23 November in the parish hall of the Christuskirche and is aimed at citizens who live in the north-eastern part of Bocholt.
