"Lemon could quite be one of the best kept hidden gems of The Netherlands", said the music blog It's All Indie after the release of the first single, on which the band collaborated with Cath Coffey from the legendary Stereo MC's from London. RGM Press wrote about the follow-up: "They're shaping the future of indie music". The subsequent releases have also received great reviews.

Their groovy soul rock - with influences from bands such as Primal Scream, Stone Roses, The Kooks, Talking Heads and Happy Mondays - has already wowed audiences on many stages and festivals. Last year, they brought the most legendary concert hall in the Netherlands (Paradiso in Amsterdam) to boiling point. Check out the video! On Gigstarter.nl their shows get almost 5-star ratings. "Like fireworks on stage", said the organiser of a gig in Germany. The music blog MangoWave wrote: "They really belong on the big open-air stages".

To emphasise the influences of the English 'Madchester' sound - which Wikipedia describes as a mix of indie rock, psychedelia and dance music - they named their third album 'Nedchester'. Their fourth album made it into the top 10 best albums of the year by well-known pop journalist Swie Tio. You can listen to all Lemon releases on Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer and so on.
