Lecture "Challenging behaviour in dementia"
Sandra Wölker, Caritas Association for the Bocholt Deanery, provides information on the topic of dementia
It is all too familiar to many relatives of people with dementia: dementia can lead to so-called "challenging behaviour" in many of those affected. This includes behaviour such as shouting or swearing, aggression and even physical violence. In the lecture, Sandra Wölker, dementia counsellor at Caritas, explains how this behaviour is linked to the disease. What circumstances can exacerbate the behaviour and what strategies you as a relative can use in such situations to bring more serenity into your everyday life together.
The event is free of charge and is organised in cooperation with the Bocholt Dementia Network and the BOHRIS medical network. Registration is requested: seniorenbuero(at)bocholt(dot)de
