"One of the country's most creative nylon-string guitarists", as Falk Zenker was recently described by the specialist magazine *Akustik Gitarre*, promises an inspiring concert experience in which space is created for weightless dreaming, breathtaking flights of fancy, cheerful and creative leaps of thought, and for an encounter with one's inner self.
Falk Zenker, a guitarist, composer and sound artist living near Weimar and in the Fichtelgebirge, was recently named "one of the country's most creative nylon-string guitarists" by the specialist magazine *Akustik Gitarre*. For three decades now, he has been delighting audiences and critics alike time and again with his virtuoso guitar playing, which spans the medieval, classical, flamenco, modern world music, improvisation and live-looped beats.
For example, Jazzpodium wrote the following about him: "He is a sound tinkerer and bridge-builder of a special kind, classically trained and blessed with the gift of repeatedly creating connections between spaces and times in a sensitive, stylish and entirely unique way, as only he can - endearing, cosmopolitan, quintessentially Zenker and very, very beautiful."" Zenker currently performs and improvises music from his latest album *Innenwege* as well as from his earlier solo albums *Estampie*, *Falkenflug*, *Gedankenreise* and *Wellentanz*.
Using sophisticated live looping, he occasionally multiplies his guitar playing into pulsating, orchestral soundscapes - a technique he has been the first German acoustic guitarist to celebrate on stage since 1997.

Short biography:
Falk Zenker, born in 1967 in Mittweida, studied classical guitar and jazz in Weimar and explored flamenco, medieval music and electroacoustic music.
He tours regularly as a soloist and with his ensemble Nu:n, composes for film, theatre and literature, realises experimental projects and sound installations, and creates music for self-discovery.
To date, he has released ten CDs on Acoustic Music, Raumklang and Timezone Records, and sheet music of his compositions with Edition Margaux and Fingerprint.
