Exhibition of the Westphalian artists' group Kim

The Westphalian artists' group Kim and the Bocholter Kunst- und Kulturgemeinschaft e.V. (KuKuG) invite you to an exhibition in the LernWerk extension from the beginning of June. Under the title "Appendizitis", Kim will be presenting a broad spectrum of contemporary works. The exhibition will officially open on Thursday, 4 June 2026 and can be seen free of charge until 21 June.

KiM

The Westfälische Künstlergruppe Kim ("Kunst ist mehr") and the Bocholter Kunst- und Kulturgemeinschaft (KuKuG) are united by the diversity of artistic creation in their ranks. What's more, three artists are active in both organisations. So it made sense for Kim to exhibit in the KuKuG rooms in the Appendix am LernWerk from 4 to 21 June. The somewhat mysterious title, alluding to the location, is "Appendizitis".

KuKuG members Monika Altrogge (ceramics), Egbert Hense (paintings, sculptures) and Frank Terwey (paintings, sculptures, objects, street art, installations) are taking part. Together with them, Kim members Gudrun Issel (painting), Heike Krüger (textile art), Edith Micansky (painting, drawings, installations), Alexandra Orb (ceramic designer) and Reinhard Tempelmann (painting, sculpture, objects) are organising the exhibition.

The exhibition will open on Thursday, 4 June, at 7 pm with musical accompaniment by Borken-based singer Manuela Miko. The presentation can then be seen on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am to 5 pm. Contrary to the KuKuG programme, it ends on 21 June. Admission is free on all of the above dates.
