Bocholt Puppet Theatre Festival 2026 - "Furzipups the Rattling Dragon"

On Tuesday 15 September at 3.00 pm, the puppet show "Furzipups der Knatterdrache" will take place in the Wissing-Flinzenberg Hall in Barlo (Barloer Ringstraße 48).

The Figurentheater Köln, with Andreas Blaschke, will be performing the play "Furzipups der Knatterdrache" (based on Kai Lüftner's story), which is about a dragon who can only fart instead of breathing fire - a fun adventure for children aged 3 and over. The performance lasts around 50 minutes.

"Furzipups the Rattling Dragon": Rattle! Fart! Blat-t-t-t! - When the little dragon Furzipups tries to breathe fire, it usually makes quite a racket, but doesn't go to plan. Yet all he wants is to finally be a proper dragon! Will he succeed?

This lively puppet show is based on the popular children's book by cult author and songwriter Kai Lüftner and promises a great adventure full of humour, surprises and interactive moments, brought to life by Andreas Blaschke from the Cologne Puppet Theatre.
