Probably the world's first bluegrass band to present the songs and style of the legend Johnny Cash in bluegrass format.
Their name says it all - Bluegrass Cash are four musicians from Cologne who pay tribute to one of the greatest of all time with their performance. Not only the typical bluegrass instruments such as mandolin, fiddle, banjo, guitar and double bass are used. Bluegrass Cash impresses with its pounding rhythm, virtuoso solos and harmonious polyphonic vocals.
They share their joy of playing with their audience and take them on a journey through Johnny Cash's repertoire.
Kikki Géron, a Dutch singer and actress who has made a name for herself through her collaboration with renowned orchestras, takes on the role of June Carter Cash in the concert. Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash toured together for many years and won several Grammys for their joint recordings.
