1st Bocholt cultural walk
Bocholt invites you to go along: "Votes of the city" on 30 June
A special walk will take place in Bocholt on 30 June: At "Stimmen der Stadt", the city itself becomes the stage - and its stories take centre stage.
The actresses Carola v. Seckendorff and Cornelia Kupferschmid will collect texts and ideas from Bocholt's citizens. The result will be a walk in which you can listen, join in and also become active yourself.
A small group will walk through the city - from place to place. On the way, the submitted texts will come to life: sometimes as a spoken scene, sometimes as a short performance, sometimes in a surprisingly different way. It's about memories, wishes and the question of what Bocholt means to the people who live here.
Everyone can take part - with or without theatre experience. Anyone who wants to can get involved or simply watch and listen.
At the end there will be a picnic together. Food can be brought along and shared. All participants will also receive a reader with the collected texts.
Please send your text contributions for this event to info(at)stadtlandbuehne(dot)de by 15 June .
The submitted contributions will be artistically curated and condensed into thematic stations - such as "Memory", "Future", "Sounds of the City" or "Hidden Places". This will result in a walk-in, living work of art in public space.
Meeting point: Market square in front of the historic town hall
The event is organised in cooperation with the LWL-Museum Textilwerk.
