City Museum Bocholt

The town museum is an ideal place to immerse yourself in Bocholt's 800-year history.

As a museum of earth history, prehistory and early history as well as a museum of art (including the valuable art collections of the 15th century engraver Israhel van Meckenem), it is an important source on the culture of the Bocholt area. In addition to changing exhibitions and folkloristic museum areas, works from the artistic estate of the Bocholt-born stage designer Josef Fenneker can be seen, among others. A house weaving chamber provides a link to the Bocholt Textile Museum.

Important note: The museum is currently closed due to the need for renovation. Please check the museum website for the latest information.
